How to Reset a User Password

Step 1: Navigate to the Administration Tab

Once logged in, go to the Administration tab in the top navigation menu.


Step 2: Select "Manage Users" from the Dropdown

From the dropdown menu under the Administration tab, click on Manage Users.



Step 3: Locate the User

Scroll through the user list or use the search function to find the user whose password you want to reset.


Step 4: Choose a Password Reset Method

 

You have two options to reset the user’s password:

Option A: Send a Password Reset Email

Click the envelope icon located on the right-hand side of the user’s row. This will send a password reset email directly to the user.


Use this method if you want the user to set their own new password securely.


Option B: Manually Set a New Password

Click the key icon on the left-hand side of the user’s row. You will be prompted to enter a new password manually.


📝 Use this method if the user is unable to access their email or if you need to set a specific password.


Step 6: Communicate With the User

  • If you used Option A, let the user know to check their email and follow the instructions to reset their password.

  • If you used Option B, securely share the new password with the user.


That’s it! You’ve successfully reset a user’s password.
